Dear God,
There's a weary soul tonight, and his spirit is heavy.
You know what's going on, Lord. You know what he needs.
Lift him up from his misery, may he find ease in Your comfort.
With Your sweet gentle voice, assure him that he's never abandoned nor forsaken.
Remind him that all is well, and he's in good hands.
Remind him of Your love, when hatred consumes his world.
Do not judge him if he had hurt others,
he's only a vulnerable little thing who's protecting himself.
Lord, I know it's never Your intention to see him in pain,
So guide him in this time of darkness, bring him out to the light.
Restore this broken and wounded heart,
Let him feel the joy in you once again.
